Welcoming in the New Year || 2019 Plans

Hey everyone. I am back after a very long break, lets call this attempt number 3 at blogging regularly. After some time off, I have realised how much I have missed writing and being part of this wonderful community.

Christmas is over for another year, and New Years has taken place. I hope you had a fantastic time with your family and friends, and here’s to an even better, happier, and healthier 2019. Lets make this the year of blogging, and to having many opportunities come to all of you!!

A new year means resolutions being made, and I must admit, I am rubbish at keeping them, and I am sure there are many of you out there that are the same. So instead of making a New Years resolution post, I thought, why not make a 2019 goals post, a list of thinks I have to look forward to, and some things I need to get sorted!

  • Travel to Australia, and explore Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

It has always been a dream of mine to travel the world, and that is what I intend to do. I will be jetting off to the land down under in March/April. I will be off to Sydney first, and spend 9 days exploring the city and surroundings. Then it will be off to Brisbane, see the family and have lots of fun. Then before I head home, it will be a visit to Perth in the west, where I will be reunited with my friend!

  • Book a trip to America or Italy.

We have not decided which country yet, but it will be a great trip exploring lots of new cities!

I spent 3 months in America back in 2016, and I keep telling myself a trip back is definitely needed. We are wanting to go on a road trip/visiting many places whilst we are there. I cannot wait to decide where we are going and book it this month.

  • Get into University to study Nursing.

I originally applied to study Nursing in 2013, but never accepted and had to stay on another year in school because of an illness, and this did put me off it. However, over the past few months, I have been thinking about it again a lot more, and I thought why not do it?! I will only regret not doing it in 5 years time. So that is the plan, I am currently waiting to hear from the Universities, and then hopefully come September, I will be a Student Nurse!

  • Plan a girls holiday to Ibiza.

My friends and I have always said we need to go on a girls holiday, but due to life being very busy, we have never had the chance to go anywhere. This year is different though, we have talked about going to Ibiza, and we are organising our first girls holiday!

  • Get back into blogging consistently.

This past year, blogging has taken a back step as I have been busy with work. I have missed it, I have missed having the time to take for myself and enjoy writing. However, I am back, and I plan to post consistently, and rejoin the community. Heres to 2019, a year filled with fabulous content..Hopefully.

  • Get back into photography.

Photography has been a passion of mine for a while now, and just like blogging, I have not had much time to get outside and take pictures. The last time I used my camera was in Corfu in June, and that is just very sad!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, however you celebrated, and I hope 2019 is the best year yet!

  1. This was a lovely post with some brilliant goals to aim for. Good luck with your nursing, such a valuable profession to get into. So jealous about your trip to Oz! It’s been on my bucketlist forever, mainly as I want to do the Neighbours tour 😂😂 Hope you manage to find the time in your life to continue blogging again. I feel you, it’s so hard to juggle with life and a full time job etc!
